UPDATE: Thanks to everyone for commenting, and congratulations Chris, for winning the giveaway!

Over the past few weeks, Princess P and I have been playing around with the Klutz Book of Animation... and I realize that stop motion animation is something I could get into. Here is our first feature film, enjoy:

The fine people at Klutz have also put together this special video to show a little more of what you can do.

Before playing with the included (via download) video editing software, I had no idea animation was so easy. All I needed to get up and running was a webcam, and an internet connection to download the software. After that, the Klutz book of animation helped spark Princess P (and my) creativity. Making our first film was a blast.

Lucky for you, I have some stuff to give away. One lucky reader will receive the following: So if you’re interested, leave a comment and let me know what kind of film you would make. The giveaway will run until 10/7 at midnight central time.

Also, stop by This Full House tomorrow to check out another video, and another chance to win!

I could see my children making all kinds of videos. I really like stop motion animation and I would really like to attempt that type of video myself. Thanks for the giveaway....

This is so much fun for the whole family. I would start by using my kids stuffed animals and having them come to "life". Thanks for the chance!

The stop motion animation looks like fun to do. I'd love to try and make a short holiday video this year, maybe like that paper doll one and send the link along with our cards.

I think holiday shorts would be the path me and my kids would at this time of year. It might even resemble some of the old Christmas Specials, i.e. Frosty the Snowman. Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer, etc. This type of project would help bridge the gap of where we've been and where we are. Pretty cool idea.
